1.Incorporated on 6th March 1990 under the name of Autoindustries Corporation Sdn. Bhd. and acquired its first automotive company in June 1990
2.Listed on the KLSE Second Board in December 1994
3.Diversified from automotive business to plastics and metal in 1995 and forayed into the semiconductor industry in 1996
4.Assumed present name in April 1997
5.AIC Semiconductor Sdn. Bhd., our assembly and test plant in Kulim commenced pre-commercial production in Nov 1997
6.AIC formed its Information Technology division in 1998
7.Listing was transferred to KLSE Main Board in July 2000
8.Entered into a joint venture with a Korean partner in July 2003 to design, manufacture and sell TFT-LCD monitors and digital TVs. Commenced commercial production in April 2004.
